A Curved Courtyard Composition

The textured white wall wraps around the seating area, contrasting with the straight lines of the deck boards. A dark bench top follows the curve and visually connects the different sections of the courtyard.

Texture in Daylight and After Dark

Daylight reveals the relief of the PU stone surfaces. After dark, lighting beneath the bench and along the steps traces the seating area and brings out the texture from below.

DM New Materials supplied the decorative materials for this Markham project. Installation was carried out by EVERGROWING CONSTRUCTION, our long-standing installation partner.
